A native of Massachusetts, Chuck Bonelli was raised in the south (from the age of 5), enjoying the beautiful white sands of Pensacola, Fla. He joined Southeast Tourism Society as vice president of marketing in 2001, where his duties include membership, marketing and sales.

Before joining STS, Chuck was the director of the Stone Mountain Tennis Center and its historic Olympic Stadium. Prior to that, Chuck learned the travel and tourism industry working at Stone Mountain, Georgia in merchandise, marketing and special events. This is Chuck’s second career following 25 years as a U.S. Navy cryptologist; he served around the world prior to moving to Atlanta in 1995.
