Southeast Tourism Society promotes leisure travel, sustainable tourism and the importance of the travel industry in 12 Southeastern states. Members represent many facets of the travel industry and work cooperatively to strengthen the region as a travel destination.

Top 20 Events
For over two decades the best events across the Southeast compete to receive the prestigious Top 20 Events designation. Through a nomination process, the Southeast Tourism Society judges choose the twenty events held in the Southeast for each month of the year. The Top 20 Events publication is sent to over 1,600 media outlets.

Next deadline: January 9, 2009 for events held in July, August, September 2009
