Welcome New States
Growing is good! The Southeast States Chapter of TTRA (Travel and Tourism Research Association) extends a warm welcome to Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi, the latest states to join SETTRA. Last fall, the South Central Chapter of TTRA voted to merge with the Southeast States. You will meet many of our newest members at the spring SETTRA Symposium. Know people interested in research? Direct them to settra.org or call 404-364.9847.
Put Your Destination in Front of Travel Writers
One of the great challenges of tourism publicity is reaching out to travel writers. STS can be your messenger to some of the nation's best travel writers when the Central States Chapter of the Society of American Travel Writers meets in Atlanta in April.
STS will host a hospitality suite throughout the convention and will have the opportunity to visit with the approximately 70 attendees. We will give every writer at the convention a collection of story ideas provided by STS members. The cost is only $250, far less than you'd invest to visit just one writer on his or her own turf. Want to know more? Call 404.364.9847 or write us.
