The Southeast Tourism Society (STS) office is excited to announce the newest member of its staff. Heather Blanchard has joined STS as its Director of Member Development.
In this role, Heather works with STS corporate partners and sponsors to develop unique programming, in addition to managing the educational content of STS events such as the upcoming STS Fall Forum, October 10-11, in Biloxi, Mississippiand the Inaugural STS Connections Conference, April 23-25, 2018 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Prior to joining STS, Heather was the Executive Director of the Johns Creek CVB, a North Atlanta suburb. Most recently Heather served as a Research Analyst with Gray Research Solutions out of Nashville, Tennessee.
"Heather's diverse background in the CVB world as well as research, in addition to her familiarity with STS programs, made her an ideal candidate for this newly developed role at STS," said Bill Hardman, President and CEO of STS. "Her working knowledge of the travel and tourism industry, in a variety of facets, has already proven to be most beneficial to the continued growth of the organization."
Heather is a graduate of STS Marketing College ® and received her Travel Marketing Professional (TMP) designation in 2015.
