The following is a list of features in the 2025 Go South Tour Planner. The Group Travel Leader relies on the states in the Southeast Tourism Society to provide leads and information for features.

Content

1) Waterfront Destinations: From scenic seashores to stunning lakes, rivers and streams, the Southeast is full of water that add charm and beauty to their neighboring cities. This article will highlight destinations throughout the region where groups can enjoy waterfront vibes, sightseeing cruises and adventurous aquatic activities.

2) Wellness Experiences: Today’s travelers are increasingly looking for time spent outdoors to help them boost physical and mental wellness, and destinations throughout the Southeast have plenty to offer. This article will focus on places where groups can have guided experiences that help them reduce stress and boost mindfulness by getting back to nature.

3) Shopping Hotspots: Travelers love shopping, whether it’s hunting for the perfect handmade souvenir or scoring a discount they could never find at home. This story will feature neighborhoods, districts and developments that are known as shopping destinations with their own unique mix of retail possibilities.

4) Student and Youth Destinations: Student groups are an important segment of the group tour market, and more student groups are poised to travel to the Southeast in 2025 than ever before. This article will spotlight destinations around the region that have built a following with student groups and offer world-class opportunities for them to learn, perform, compete and have fun.

5) Historic Destinations: Cities and towns throughout the Southeast have stories to tell, and travelers want to hear them. This piece will cover destinations large and small that can give group travelers insightful looks into the people and places that have made America’s South the unique and vibrant region it is today.
