Julie Fisher Appointed as Director of Membership Development at Southeast Tourism Society
Roswell, GA (September 19, 2024) – Southeast Tourism Society (STS) is excited to announce Julie Fisher has joined the staff as the Director of Membership Development. In her role, Fisher will develop and implement member and sponsor recruitment and retention efforts, develop membership and sponsorship benefits, and identify markets and organizations to cultivate new business.
“Julie’s extensive 20-year sales experience in the hospitality industry will enable her to make significant contributions to STS and enhance its member relations,” said Monica Smith, President & CEO of Southeast Tourism Society.
Fisher, a Military child, earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from Georgia Southern University. “Joining Southeast Tourism Society feels like a full-circle moment”, says Fisher. “I started as their Administrative Assistant and now, as their Director of Member Development, it’s truly a dream come true”.
