Join us in Washington, D.C., on June 12 for an engaging afternoon of networking and discovery at Southern Routes and Roots – Travel Media Marketplace!

From 2 to 6 PM, this dynamic event will bring together leading Southeastern tourism destinations and top-tier travel media for a unique opportunity to forge meaningful connections, exchange stories, and showcase the best of what the South has to offer.

Cost: $1,275 for STS Members; $1,500 for non-members
This event is expected to sell out due to limited attendance- registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis.

REGISTRATION INCLUDES:

  • Private engagement with at least 15-20 journalists and influencers from the coveted D.C. media market

  • Attending media contacts and information

  • Display area for networking

  • ONE attendee per destination (add a second attendee for $350)

  • Ability to showcase an authentic or unique product to your area. Media will receive a gift bag and fill items at your table.

What to Expect

Themed Southern Charms, this dynamic event is part trade show, part artisan market and fantastic for networking. Media will rotate through display tables and will be given a “Passport” to have destination partners check off as a stop along the way with enforced timed meetings. The media representatives must have each “stop” checked off their map to enter for a coveted prize drawing, which ensures additional face-to-face time with each partner and media representative.
