What is Travel Media Meetup?

Pineapple Public Relations connects destinations with top-tier media in a dynamic networking event. Get quality one-on-one time with the media to learn what they are looking for and pitch your story ideas.

Pineapple Public Relations hosts two Travel Media Meetup events a year in affiliation with the Southeast Tourism Society. Even if you’re working with a PR consultant/agency, this complements your efforts, yet saves the expense of researching the media and arranging deskside briefings.

This event sells out due to limited participation - registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis.

What to Expect

Themed Southern Charms, this dynamic event is part trade show, part artisan market and fantastic for networking. Media will rotate through display tables and will be given a “Passport” to have destination partners check off as a stop along the way with enforced timed meetings. The media representatives must have each “stop” checked off their map to enter for a coveted prize drawing, which ensures additional face-to-face time with each partner and media representative.
